Thanks for the feed back guys.
You are correct in thinking these are far from done, I did the base coat of rust on the exhaust, painted on the German crosses and did the lighter edge high-lights not long after I took the photos.
Next stages will be light weathering, then gloss coat, pin lining and detail painting, then final weathering to match to their bases, with a final matt coat. I plan on the Jagdpanzer to be in an urban setting and the Flakpanzer to be in open fields.... But that's way off in the future with current work/family/modeling time balance at this time.

Nearly done now..... Vehicles are done, just need to do their bases and associated figures. There's a few firsts on these for me, first time I've attempted rusted panels, first time I've tried the airbrush 'splatter' technique for splashed mud ( still not sure it works in this scale ) & first time I used the tea bag method for camo netting. I think I just about got away with them all First up the Porche E-25 Jagdpanzer.... And now the Porche E-25 Flakpanzer..... And so you all have something to scale it all against..... C&Cs welcome as always ATB Sean

Considering what you started out with Sean I'd say you created a pair of nice little beauties here. Well done!

The nice thing is now you have the other one you can see just how basic the kits actually are, and how much stuff I've actually added to make it look like that. ATB Sean

Should also say I was gutted when I remembered after doing the turret net that I was supposed to build a turret box then fit the net over the top.
Maybe you could dip your toe into the scratchbuilding arena and do the turret box thing to yours instead!?

I might be up for it..... Also, what's the 'tea bag' camo method? I've heard of people using old tea leaves as foliage for netting. Does your method use the old bag as the 'netting' base? Thank as always. Andrew

Thank as always. Andrew Yes, just like you'd find on the back of Pz III and IV, and tigers turrets. The cam net method I use makes use of surgical gauze dipped in PVA/water mix(50/50) and while still wet sprinkle on 'new and unused' tea leaves straight from the tea bag, PG tips if that makes any difference, leave it a couple of days to dry then paint it, its alot easier to spray it as brushing can drag the tea leaves off quite easily, I normally spray the base colours then dry brush the highlights onto the net and leaves after.... Very, very carefully.
