this is my entry to the BMGB - a Polish winged hussar from Young miniatures. I started with his metal parts as always. That bust will look great next to my Tywin Lannister I guess.
Why this bust? Well, it looks most impressive, I got it for a fair price at the last expo and my mother-in-law and therefore my girl has Polish origins! She even can sing the national anthem (it was developed much later):

Wow, the metallic parts looks well tackled! Great work on them! What colour did you use? Polishable? Or maybe the more or less new Scale75 colours? Did anyone use them till now? There is a new bronce set, which looks marvellous!
Golden pieces got some depth, cloth had been painted (with the help of clear red, makes it far easier!) and the face... well I wouldnt call it "done" because I have the feeling that something is wrong. And yes, the eyes are still missing. Tips, anyone?
The face neended more contrast. Thats the part Im always a bit afraid of - with the help of two much more talented German painters (Dirk "Brushguy" Stiller and Hendryk Schröder) Im now a bit happier with it.
