I like all the work you've put into the rear deck tools. I did this kit some time back and remember how difficult it was to get some of the rear panels to line up.

I know John because i've built two,the Priest and the Sexton and both were a PITA to fix. They did a third variety with the Grizzly chassis that I don't have just because I don't want to deal with it.
Glad you like my efforts Tony lee

Hi there Tony,
I love the colors on this Sexton, spot on! Clean build of a vehicle you don't see that often. Looking forward to see this one pigmented...
Do you have any idea if/what figures go with this one?
greetings, Richard.

I need a figure for scale to place in my pictures and since i've built a couple of Canadian SPGs I started on one today. The only thing I could find to describe the color of their uniform was a Khaki with a hint of Green, the Brits had more of a hint of Brown in theirs. I found a bottle of Vallejo Khaki and a bottle of Tamiya Khaki in my paint inventory. For shading I used opposite brands and the helmet is also Tamiya since it was the darker shade. I'll apply a Green filter for that hint they were talking about. This is just the base color coat, more shading and skin tones to follow. Please critique for me,now is the time to make changes if need be. Thanks Tony lee

Some fine work there Tony! The figures sets the scale very well and the weathering is just enough!! You are a machine right now!!

Another one crossed the finish line! I can understand your desire to build vs. paint/finish something...I've been wondering if we were going to have to change your name to Uncle Earl Scheib!

Fantastic finish... subtle weathering. I really like the figure you have chosen for this!
