Next on the bench, and staying with the 'Green Theme', an Airfix 1/76 scale Churchill Bridge Carrier Assault tank The progress so far doesn't warrant a picture as yet, I've built the main structure of the bridge and half the lower suspension. More to follow.... ATB Sean

The 3 main parts of the Bridging tank are now built, now to do the detailing on the Churchill chassis. I'm in 2 minds as to whether to detail the bridge structure as the deck boards are technically wrong, or the very least, part wrong, as all or just the front part should be a lattice with raised 'grouser' type sections for grip, you can just see what I mean in the box art, that would require a hell of a lot of scratch building just to do the tip sections that all of them seem to have, and a lot were purely this lattice work. I'll have to take a longer look at it, and have a fool proof plan, before I start molesting it with a Dremel Anyhoo, the pics so far.... I'm also fairly sure I'm going to model it as in the middle picture, purely so it doesn't take up to much room in my display case and you can still see a reasonable amount of detail. As always C&Cs welcome ATB Sean

Going to look good under paint with that bridge section in mid-deploy mode.

Lift arm brackets made..... Flimsy racks made..... And for those who care, primer and black/white undercoat on..... Now the labour intensive white detail highlights, once the black/white primer is dry, before colour coat goes on. C&C welcome as ever ATB Sean

Its a one off batch mix I've made that is supposed to represent SCC15.
Its made up of Tamiya colours, mostly RAF green with the addition of an olive and cockpit green, that I found on the internet.
It was a colour mix for 1/35 scale so I added a touch more of the cockpit green to the mix for scale purposes.
I'll be using the same batch on this so it 'should' come out the same with any luck!

Undercoat highlights finished...... A bit annoyed with myself with the colour coat as I over did it just a tad on the hull section almost covering the white highlights totally on the top, should still look ok once the pin lining is done I hope.... Gloss coat is now on and drying ready for pin lining and decals C&C welcome ATB Sean

This would be impressive in 1/35, even more so in the braille scale.
