Made a start on this, Milicast resin 1/76 scale Scammell SV2s Heavy Recovery Truck.... The beauty of super glue and speed set activator is there is no drying time on adhesive so most of my time is dedicated to cutting off and cleaning up parts before they are attached.... The results of a couple of hours work.... And yesterday someone on a farcebook page I dodge around on made the error of posting a picture of some 1/48 scale T-34 hull grab handles up proclaiming they were "small" parts...... after I finished laughing I posted this up....... I think not..... These are small grab handles..... ATB Sean

Should be a fun subject to pull off Sean, you're right about those grab handles. They are perfectly sized for a CM snack.

That's some lovely crisp detail on that kit - nicely put together too! Just as a matter of interest: how much do these braille resin kits go for, if you don't mind my asking?

This one was £32 not including p&p, the detail is beyond comprehension for the scale, I'd love to be as talented as the person who made the master, even the drive gear on the chassis winch has tiny little teeth, all of which cant be seen once the shield on the left chassis goes on. On the flip side its a lot of money, along the lines of what I'd expect to pay for a 1/35 kit, for what is still a braille scale kit Sean

LOL I'm quite lucky really, despite being half way through the back half of my 40s I've been blessed with short sight, so building these didy things is no drama..... trying to navigate my work van down a busy road on the other hand is becoming more like dodgem's every day!! Sean

Interior of cab all painted up, this shot is minus pin lining, but it was done just before it got buttoned up Main build complete, again, wonderful world of super glue enabled me to get from the picture above to this in about an hour!!! Next up is the fiddle faddle of adding the details, grab handles and making it look lived on/in..... to be continued as I really need to get back on with my Famo and K18..... Sean

Sadly not much to report on this one, some handles, braces and the mirrors have gone on, oh and some strength braces on the back winch, still loads to do, and trying to decide if its a good idea or not to scratch build the tracks that would go on the rear tyres to turn it into a half-track,.... May save this for the Pioneer gun tractor I've got in the stash waiting.... but time has been against me with work getting in the way of modeling time Sean
