Happy New Year to all!!! Its time again for our local annual Aoshima Cup Challenge, this is already the 3rd year on-going competition, sponsored by our local hobby shop. This time my entry would be the Lamborghini Huracan a recently release kit from Aoshima. The plan will do semi review here on MSC - Any suggestion and comments are welcome. A bit of information Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 as the successor of Gallardo, Huracan made its debut in 2014. First look the kit looks great with crisp details, but some parts are very delicate extra sharp blade or a PE saw is need to prevent some parts to break or damage. (for further editing) The Sprue with a separate body, front and rear bumper. side skirts and tails lights molded in color plastic. with four sets of wheels (overseas edition) and 1 set of tires 1 piece mold chassis Chrome Clear part Interior Engine Body Precision window masking seal Separate Detail up part (optional) if you like a more detail Huracan this is what you need, the gauge are already prepainted, metal logo, wire screen and metal screen.

First stop would be the Body preparation, a few seams on the edges that need to be sanded, just sand it with 1000 grit to protect the details... no fitting issue as you can see on the picture. with kit supplied precision window masking seal, this save times on masking and making a near perfect trims. Cheers!!!

Thanks a lot guys!!! honestly its a bit yellow-orange shade... since I've run out of white primer and the sun is already out, have to go with an alternative available primer color light grey, and this turn out the color... dunno color if the correct term for it Tangerine or Mango yellow? which ever is close... and yes it was supposed to be a light orange, Joel is right...

Hey it's a Lamborghini, through the "Bespoke Service" (and bottomless checkbook) you can have it painted whatever color you want.

Apologies for the late update, been working on this against time since my wife is due this month (waiting for the Baby) and I might able to focus if post every update that I have done... Brake Calipers with PE set, I guess the name says it all Engine Support Cover with PE logo Dashboard with pre Painted PE Dials Wheels painted in gloss black and prepainted logo, tires are well detailed. Engine Assembly with Metal logo stickers, not much work have done here since most the parts will be covered (I've learn that with a bunch of wasted time on my previous builds) This is where I'm at now for the lower part of the Huracan much of the Engine have been covered. Cheers!!!

Thanks a lot guys!!! I'm having some kind of delay, since the clear need more time to dry.
Lee yes I'm using a gunze yellow orange paint, with a light grey base primer... tested the with a plastic spoon, if I choose the white base primer it will be exactly the same color as yours.
