Howdy guys! As part of a little personal "pull my head out of my butt group build", this Waffentrager fur 3cm Jaboschreck (Gesundheit) was build by a good friend of mine, Chris LeBlanc, and I was asked if I wanted to spend some time painting it! Of course I said yes! I thought it was a neat looking tanky! I added a few tool holders to bring some detail to the fenders. It is unfortunate the tracks are installed...but anything can have a work around! The part about the "personal group build" is this is one of three kits in the paint booth right now...so there is plenty of fun to be had around here soon! Last night was a Prine-Time sort of evening! I was able to lay down a little primer. I chose black, of course, and added a little IDF to lighten things up a bit. I may add one more layer of off white or light dust to do even more highlighting before the fact... I'm heading into the cave shortly to sling some paint soon....thanks for stopping in!!

looks like a VK1602 Leopard with a Kuglitz turret. 't think it's from Amusing Hobby, but from Hobby Boss with a Dragon turret. Am I right? gary

Thanks Fellas! Hoping to salvage some time tonight after work to get this one moving forward a bit more! Gary, You could be correct! LOL I honestly do not know my friend! I was asked...then handed the kit from my friend! Other than the name, I never asked how it was born!

Thanks Andy! Well, along with my Pz. Wreck, this little guy made it into the booth for a beginning stage to the coloring! I was fortunate enough to snag a new set of paints recently...figured I would take the for a whirl! Similar to many sets, there are a couple shades of each color to get the tone one is looking for. First step of this ride was the gelb coloring. Dark yellow followed with a thin application of Sand. A little more dusting to blend things in, and I think this is ready for the camo end of the game...I might not be ready ...but this is! LOL

I wish that was here my friend! We have been all over the place with weather since February...one day sunny and 23c...the next 12 inches of snow followed by a day of rain then down to -14c back up to 9c...and tis was in just one week! Yesterday was beautiful and around 14c and sunny...today snow on and off until tomorrow noonish with rain, sleet, snow, high winds...but Monday is going to be 15c with sun! Ahhh...life in New England...pretty much the entire Eastern seaboard this winter!
