John, if it was spelled "krait", it would be a bad a$$ viper from Southeast Asia. (The dreaded 'Two Stepper Snake", named because if the snake bit you, you took two more steps and fell over dead)

If it were spelled "Krayt" then it would follow along even better with Star Wars lore. That long skeleton C-3PO is standing in front of when he spots the Jawa sandcrawler is that of a Krayt Dragon. Perhaps? |
