New from ArmorFarm Coming Summer 2012 Price: TBA Here is a sneak peak at a few of the items from ArmorFarm that will be released this summer. The three items I received for review come in sturdy clear plastic boxes as to protect the material inside. A good amount of product is included in each box and should yield enough for at least one average size diorama. Please note that the label on the Grass package is the new label. The other two are old production. We start things off with the Grass product. This box is really full with enough grass for a few decent size dio's. The Grass is in a yellowish brown color and comes in various sizes, from 3/8 to 3/4 inch high. Here I have clumped a few tufts and placed a figure next to them for scale. The tufts can be used singly or clumped as shown, and in/on one another. By painting some of the tufts you can get some live grass out of them. These grass tufts will work great with Silflor tufts to represent dry dead grass. Next we have Saplings. As the name implies, these represent small tree saplings. They vary in height and have well spaced branches. All the saplings are bare, and by this I mean no leaves. By adding some paper or PE leaves one can make trees/sapling in a Spring or Summer setting. Again with a figure for scale effect. The Saplings come in various sizes and this one was one of the small to medium size Sapling. Lastly we have Bushes. These are odd shaped plants that when grouped together will make a very convincing bush or shrub. Again, with the addition of some green foliage one can come up with some really cool bushes. Below images and models by Ken Abrams.
