Moved forward with a little more weathering after a quick stop at the dollar store for background paper after work. Finally got the tracks on. Still a little more weathering yet to go, but at least it's moving forward. Borrowed my wife's camera but I'm not super happy with the quality of my shots. I may try a different background colour to see if that helps. Also got a little work done on a small base for it with a Miniart telegraph pole. The DAS clay looks horrible, but it'll get covered in some vallejo textured earth after it dries and hopefully look less horrible. Thanks for all the kind words. Jeff

Keep it up. You might try painting one side of the poster board a light grey, and put a alarm on it. ;<)

Took a break from weathering to get a start on the base. Primed black with some Duplicolour automotive primer. Works terribly on kits, works fantastic on bases and ground work. Topped with Vallejo dark earth, some small stones and real earth. After it dries I'll paint it to match the weathering better and add some greenery and wires to the telegraph pole. Thanks for looking. Jeff

Got a little time last night and got a start on painting the figure. I tried out a new paint mix and I'm not sure I love it. It's a weird situation where it looks better in the pictures then it does in person. Hopefully I can get a start on the torso tonight. Thanks for looking. Jeff

Hi again. Pretty swamped but thought I'd post a quick update. Played around with the base the past couple nights. Still needs a little more work, but it's getting close to finished. Jeff

Getting really close now Jeff! Ground cover looks good as does the telephone pole and wires.

Two posts in less then 6hrs. That's a new record. I think the bench was good for taking my mind of the beat down $#%ing Notre Dame handed out yesterday night. Finished up the tank commander and installed him in the turret. I have a little more weathering to do on the tank and the base but thought I'd put up a couple pictures to show where everything is standing.
Thanks for looking. Jeff
