While waiting for figures to dry I started this 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Which now looks like this 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Decided to try a little white preshade on the primer to see if it makes any difference. I've been told in no uncertain terms elsewhere that this kit is by no means accurate. Also in no uncertain terms I could not care less Regards, Mark

Thanks gents The preshade did not work so well, I did not get enough white on I think. Next time then. Wearing basecoat and filters here 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr I used an Academy Ma Deuce, the Italeri one was not so great Regards, Mark

Thank you gentlemen
Still waiting on the stuff to finish with they must have sent it the wrong way 'round the world
Gary it's really not such a difficult kit as you may have heard, I've had Dragon and AFV Club kits fight me a lot harder
Regards, Mark

My guess may not have been too far off. Friday a box appeared on the porch with about 50 stamps on it, came from the Ukraine. This was in it 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr I did have to assemble it myself of course Looks like this one's alive again Regards, Mark

These vacu-form kits are not without their difficulties but I'll be the first to say that it's probably because I am relatively inexperienced with them. I do think they are pretty nice in the detail department tho. In wood surround with Durham's in the pan for support and edges puttied in 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr and primer 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr It's good to get this moving again, the model was looking rather forlorn sitting on the shelf waiting Regards, Mark

Building looks great. There is a lot of work in those Miniart buildings. Especially if they have all those little molding dimples on them.

Thank you gentlemen This thing's taking awhile to paint. The building, roadway, and wall are close to being done, the bare earth has not been touched except for base paint 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Got it drying in a warm place now Regards, Mark
