Done up as one from the 6th Armored Battalion if I recall correct, Korea 1951 Don't know what I'd be more scared of, the tank or a bunch of nutjobs that painted their tank to stand out in such a manner Regards, Mark

The artwork looks superb, from modeler's point of view. Apart from that I think this tank is as ugly as it can get.

All things considered the 6th did all right in Korea. That being said, no other tank divisions adopted the color scheme and no one anywhere has done anything similar since.
Tobi it is ugly. Perhaps the idea was to make the Koreans avert their eyes

Mark, I can imagine that tiger paint job (and they even managed to make it look Asian style!) had some good effect when meeting with a superstitious, rural 1950's population (from which also the Korean soldiers came from).
