Week #37 Gary Davis' 55 Chevy Modified

As stated in the past. I've known Gary across a good number of forums so I've been going to those other sites and looking at his work. One of them definitely caught my eye and I'd like to share one such build here. This week I'll be showcasing his 55 Chevy Modified that he built 18-19 years ago.

In a further tribute to a great friend and modeler, I'm bringing his thread here so that Gary can tell you about the build in his own words:

I built this OPEN COMP car about 14-15 yrs ago. I used the body from the AMT 55 street machine kit. The chassis came from an MPC southern stocker kit. The roll cage was fabbed from evergreen rod. The dash is sheet aluminium with the gauges made from Aluminium tubing. The padding on the bars is shrink tubbing. Engine is plumbed and wired. All decals are made on my printer. Paint is duplicolor...I hope you enjoy this walk back in time. It would've run Fri...Sat...and Sunday afternoon back in the 60's. Man...sure miss those days...
