Is there a way to access the special features bar when you use reply?
The bar is there when you start a post, and when you choose the quote option, but if you just hit the reply button, you get taken to a quick reply screen, that has no options, just basic text. The buttons for adding links, emojis, photos etc are not available. If I post and then edit, I get the full options menu. I've seen on some forum software where a "go advanced" option os provided, but does not seem to be the case here. Obviously I've found a workaround by editing my reply, but that is an awkward solution.
Also is the a better way to multi-quote than opening a new tab for each quote, and then merging them into one response using the BBCode tab?

Just hit the reply button beside the quote on a previous post. It gives you all the options without having to actually quote.
To multi quote just go to the tools and click on select post. No boxes or anything show up but when you quote the next person using the "quote" button the other quote will be attached.
Did this make any sense at all?

Odd that is what I've been doing, and it takes me to the quick replay. Just tried it to reply to you and I get a full featured reply... I'm sure that is what I've been doing all along, but maybe operator error. Thanks

You'll get the full toolbar by hitting the REPLY button in the upper right hand corner of your replies if you're not already doing that Aaron.

I literally just jumped over here for this EXACT question. Glad to see I'm not the only one. Now I get it.

It was definitely operator error. It is now much more obvious to me when I hit the wrong reply button, and I'm finding I do it a lot. Of course now it is an easy fix, I just make that Homer Simpson noise and go back to the correct button if I want to do anything more than basic text.
I think the issue is I have become used to other software where the reply next to the quote button is to directly quote the associated post (like the quote feature here).
Anyway issue solved.
Ironically, I've done it again, this was posted with the quick reply... (so no ironic emoji)

It only takes a short time to get used to the way Pro Boards does things and you'll be in the groove. Merry Christmas to you and your family bro. We're glad you're here.
