The Revell kit. I love these horrible things.
Almost box stock, decals by Indycals and myself.

Very cool. Lot of detail for almost box stock. What is horrible about these?

Very cool. Lot of detail for almost box stock. What is horrible about these? Yep, lots of detail. They're like Heller kits, it's mostly all there, it's up to you to make it all fit (it doesn't). Throw out the instructions, lol.
The kits all have the same chassis. It's fairly accurate for the Riley & Scott used in the Roush Mustangs. For the Camaros, they give some extra bits to make it look sort of like the Pratt & Millar. In reality, a lot of scratch mods are needed to be even close. I guess it depends on how accurate you want the end result to be. I use them a lot because I like building oddball race cars that nobody makes a kit for, and as you can see you do get a lot in the box to play with.
cheers
Paul

This is the first one I did (actually the second, I had the first one crushed). Lyn St. James' Secret car. As you can see, almost identical chassis. Roush ran the same chassis in IMSA GTO and TransAm, just swapped out the bodywork for the weekends.

I've gotta agree with you in the fact that you've definitely got a lot to play with inside the OOB kit. I'm impressed by not only that but in the way that this turned out. Beautiful work Paul.

What a great looking build! The decals alone look intimidating. Nice job.👍 Thanks. Both those cars were Indycals decals. They're not difficult to work with at all once you get used to them (you just have to cut them out of the sheet, no big deal).

This Camaro took a complete repaint and 3 sheets of Slixx decals to complete.

I always love seeing your builds of these Paul. Everytime I see you post one it makes me want to track 6 or 7 of them down. Lol. Some great looking cars and so much in these kits to work with!! Beautiful builds.
