These are some of the products I have received this week for review and testing. You can find a full thread on the AK June release here. modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ak&action=display&thread=1611First we'll start with rust set which I will start a new thread with reviw and comparison and testing. I won't go into this one here but will later post a link here to the review. Besides the 5 rust colors, ranging from light rust to dark shadow rust, you also get a bottle of the new AK chipping color. The 5 rust colors are thinned for use with airbrushes so no thinning is required. The chipping color is a bit thicker than the rust colors, which makes sense since it is to be use with a small paint brush. Next we have the interior color and weathering set. In the set is a bottle of off white acrylic paint, a wash and a bottle of streaking grime. The later two are of course enamels. here is the off white sprayed on a test piece next to the new AK Dark Rust which we'll see later. Sorry I didn't get much in the pic. I also received one each of the new AK Int. paint brushes. Numbers to followMore to come.

Andy...LOL
Spud yeas I do. Haven't really had time. Will take pics today and test out the rust and chipping colors. I try do give you my honest opinion of that set. For me the very best and as close to the real thing are the Lifecolor rust colors. These are dead on to the real thing and dry to a matt finish. They can be brushed and AB'ed. So we'll see just how good the AK colors are in comparison.

Yep you can never have enough rust color paints... ;D ;D ;D well at least I can never have enough. I've done some testing but won't have it up until tomorrow. I have to go out in a bit to a meeting and will be back later tonight. I can say that so far they look good.....and not so good. I'll post my review and comparison in my initial post.

LOL...not a bad thing Mark. Maybe not what I expected but actually is best for me.....make sense....not
Spud they will get used mate. I will use them on nearly every model, especially for the AK reviews and SBS articles for the mag. I'm especially looking forward to the flat brushes. I had to get some 502 brushes because my old ones were getting bad. Now with both the 502 and AK brushes I'll be all set. That means LOTS of streaking can be done now.
