lol TBH Martyn I wasn't even aware the Italians had their own fuel cannisters!!! Every day is a school day huh? I'm sure these will find a market somplace huh Hi Dickie Yup you’re right you learn something new every day LOL. I recall a company called Model Victoria (from Italy IIRC) sold a set of 200ltr drums www.bnamodelworld.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6935 and Tasca do an Italian jerry can set www.tasca-modellismo.com/seihin/jerrycan/itjerrycan.html. Using that as a yardstick I suppose for some this set from Vision could be very useful I’ve never seen any period photos but I suppose they will have been found anywhere Italian troops and vehicle would have been therefore useful for Italian vehicle stowage or dio’s? Bearing in mind forces relied heavily on captured supplies in the western desert I reckon these could also be used in many British/Commonwealth scenarios? Maybe DAK too? Smudge

Nice addition, they should be handy form my planned dio for the Sherman II.
There are a lot of ways to use them, given Italy has been a war scenario for two years, not to mention North Africa and Greece.

Hi Bullardino; Greece....never thought about that. Great idea Smudge Have you ever seen "Mediterraneo", the oscar winning movie? BTW you could put those jerrycans in Russia too, my grandfather fought there on the Don river. An interesting idea for our T34 specialists could be the T34 mod. 1941 captured by italians during the first phase being refuelled from those jerrycans or barrels
