Master Box Auto-repair Crew in 1/35th Scale Kit # MB35982By Shawn Gehling This is a set based on German mechanic's working or in relaxed poses (this is another great set for figure painters and those of us that enjoy figures in a “non combat” pose). The Kit: Contains 1 sprue with 32 pieces that have no flash. This set contains four (4) figures of German mechanics. These can be anywhere the German Army or Air Force worked and fought. One is sitting and appears to be trying to figure out what the problem is. One is using a hand pump to pump up a tire (the pump is included, but you will have to add the foot stabalizers and hose) and one is looking at an inner tube trying to find the hole (inner tube is not included). And the last figure is turning a wrench (the set also comes with a table and a set of tools in a roll up style case). Two of the figures come with a pipe for smoking. The engine on the table in the picture on the back of the box is not included but anyone with a parts box can come up with something for them to work on. All of the mechanic's are in shirtsleves with two having their tunics removed giving them a removed from combat look. There are no weapons, but the uniforms and equipment look accurate. Conclusion: Master Box has done it again, producing four excellent looking figures all in non combat or relaxed poses. Uniforms and equipment are covered in numerous books, so information on these should not be too hard to find. Overall this should build into an outstanding replica and is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys figures. I would like to thank Alexander Surzhenko of Master Box Models for the review kit.

Hi Shawn
A really useful set of figures I like poses like these.
Weren't these part of a motorcycle and sidecar kit? I reckon they can be used for any maintenance scenario?

Smudge, I think you are right, I just went back and looked at their catalog as Deutsches Afrika Corps, WWII Era MB3560 looks like it is the same figures. I don't know if that kit comes with the Motorcycle or not? I never got that set, so I guess I just didn't know. I like them still. Shawn
