armour 012 by Brembo2012, on Flickr My most recent completion was on the Tamiya M1 Sherman (IDF). armour 015 by Brembo2012, on Flickr I quite like this low view! armour 014 by Brembo2012, on Flickr This overhead gives a view of the crew and rear stowage. The commander and driver are stock kit figures with new heads (transplanted from the tamiya M4 crew set) while the loader is from the tamiya M51. more to come....

another recent finished work was the academy Warrior MICV pretty much built from the box, with only extra stowage and the IFF panels added. Copy of P1020471 by Brembo2012, on Flickr The crew figures are converted verlinden british gulf war Mg team, modified with new arms. Copy of P1020477 by Brembo2012, on Flickr the IFF panels are from the Tamiya modern US assys set. i see that these panels are now included as standard in the latest version of this academy kit. i had this kit for quite some time before i actually made it (at least 15 years) Copy of P1020478 by Brembo2012, on Flickr overhead view: i spent some considerable time preparing the stowage and then deciding the best fit for it.....choices, choices.... Copy of P1020479 by Brembo2012, on Flickr i love this dramatic low angle shot!

amtracs 003 by Brembo2012, on Flickr this is the 1/35 Italeri LVT Amtrac. Ive got this far with it before realising that the kit vinyl tracks really arent up to the task. each side is 2 pieces so they dont really sit very well on the model. guess im looking at a set of meta lFruille model tracks instead. i think it really needs a whole bunch of marines as well? amtracs 004 by Brembo2012, on Flickr i replaced the kit ramp cables (which were soild plastic rods) as they are a weak point on the model. both sides snapped! So the new cables are made from lead wire. Semper Fi !
