Hello guys, today I've made a handful of hay bales for my diorama "The Rusty admiral". I used fibres and architects board to shape them. The fibres were glued on with white wood glue, and after drying I added more fibres. Then I sprayed them in three sessions, from shadow tones to light tones. And this is a random composition of bales : I'll add rope later. Best regards ! Guy.

Hey guy, take it from a farm boy who throws hay bales around all the time, you nailed the look perfectly.

Thanks friends, I still don't have an update so there's not much to say or show, last weekend I bought a resine 'wooden' farmer's chart which is ideal to position in the diorama back ground. Today I made another 40 of these hay bales, tomorrow they' will be painted and the Admiral is almost ready to set aside until the barn's finished. An update of the Admiral follows shortly.
Best regards and as always your support is very much appreciated ! Guy.

Guy, what are you planning??? Hay Bales, hem, I have the idea of a Jason Vorhees figure with a machete and some forks, a wooden door of a farmhouse with a fitting wall, open, those hay bales lying around and a victim pinned to the door. OK, maybe a bit TOO sinister, but I accept a scene with some farm animals pooking around the bales and having some fun. Piecefull stuff. But what is the rusty Admiral? Some carwreck rotting alround a farm house? This might look cool, too!
