Just thought I'd share some images of my other latest. It started out as a Dragon 250/9. I added some urethane foam and skinned it with thin sheets of epoxy putty. Greeblies and details were added. Paint Weathering And now groundwork I swiped the base I was going to use on something else. It was all ready to go with a coat of black primer. I airbrushed a sandy/gray color and added some grass and weeds. It needs a little work still. OH!, I fixed the silvered decal too. Figure is next.

I love the way it just seems to hover above the base,

Oh yes, this is awesome! May I ask, what is this 'epoxy' you are using? Thanks. I'm using Aves. I use a roller and guides to get a flat sheet and cut to shape.

[quote author=oddmanrush board=scifi thread=2646 post=72925 Ah, a roller! Genius. I wonder why I don't think of these things myself some times....[/quote]
Why put your brain through all that work thinking? I read about it in a magazine. ;D
Dicky - Much better use of this kit IMO. The individual track links were a big turn off.
Thanks Sam.

Whoah, that is HOT! Is this based on any specific vehicle? Or truly just in the "style" of MaK?

Thanks Dupes. It's modeled in the style of MaK. Kow built a couple of SandStalkers based on the 222 and 232. I wanted to try my hand at something similar before trying to replicate his original models which will be much harder.

Hey MaK,
Great work, I love this type of 'what-if', really inspirational and the paint job really brings it to life.

Thanks a lot guys.
Steve - I had thought about casting up the hull but there were some symmetry issues at the back side that I didn't want to fix up. Maybe next time.
