A new year and a new project

The victim is this time a steampunk fish, I like fish but only hot on a plate ;D

The band thats on the box and this also the instructions, printit on the backside off the band.





The contents of the box, some resin parts and PE and I have purchsed some handwheels to replace the resin ones.
Those handwheels are made from lasercut paper and looks good with the details on it.




Some detail shots from the inside of the fish and you get some extra resin for free by the kit ;D

TRM, Yes Fichtenfoo have a lot nice models I have a few kits from him and wanted some others but the price hold me back

Bullardino, Boo have one to, he got his fish just before I get my fish.

Yes the Remora thats the next one on the to do list.
Wanted to start earlyer with the Remora but I`m still thinking a nnice setting in a diorama :-(

The Remora is my favourite FF kit, definitely a stunning piece of art

Just a litlle further with fish.

I have used a piece of copper rod for the head so its standing open to see al off the detail inside.



The chair, handles and engine attached, nothing gleu yet off corse


Made some new rivets because some where dammaged ore lost during pouring the resin in the mold.
I have a product called Instand mold for the mold, and Milliput for making the rivets.





Next steps, some putty and the PE stuff

Now the Hetzer is done I have some time for the fish

I have solder all the PE work and after that I made a dryfit off all the parts on his place.

Here a have made a conection between the head and body with solder wire.








And now thinking over a nice setting for the fish.

The colour looks perfect. It's so steampunky that I couldn't imagine it another way

Have done the last things before a can spray a glosscoat for the washes.

I have painted all the rivets with a yellow copper color, all the pipe work have several copper colors but most is lost deu the flash of the camera
Added the dials.
