Looking good Luigi. I think ive got this kit and its not far down the "to do" list. I'm enjoying this . Is this kit #6205? Yes, that's it. I just found out that the grille on the back should sit outside the tank, not inside. I will have to take it off and try to place it over the opening If I will fail I'll have to use the closed one...

Take the time you need to remove the grille bullardino. It's a nice detail ! You'll manage the issue !

You'll manage the issue ! Hope so, I'll try to detach it. If I won't succeed I'm even thinking of getting some aftermarket set that includes it...

Hi Luigi, I'll pull up a chair, if you don't mind. If you go for a PE set, try to get the one by Aber - much better than Eduard IMHO. I've spotted a potential problem - have you glued the mountings for the front idler-wheels in place? If so if might cause problems when you get to fit the tracks. Just like on the real thing they are used to tension the track. Send me a PM if you need some reference books. cheers, dierk

Nice work Luigi. Good to see another T-34 here. I'll be doing one later this year....a wreck of course.

It's impossible to detach the idlers, they're too well glued. Luckily I'll use the modelkasten tracks, that means I'll have some spare track links as they're designed to fit both dragon (70 links) and Tamiya (73 links), so I should be able to achieve the correct tension. Thanks for the suggestion for the PE, I'll try to detach the dragon's one first and if unsuccessful in keeping it intact I'll get the Aber one. Ah, pm incoming Nice work Luigi. Good to see another T-34 here. I'll be doing one later this year....a wreck of course. Thanks Rob I will follow your path of destruction sooner or later, let me get the right practice on AFVs and I will try a blown up one

Nice work with the customized damage Luigi, it's little things like that that always make a build more "personal" in the end.

Thank you all. I'm busy assembling wheels and tracks. Those modelkasten tracks are quite difficult to keep together...

Nice work Luigi! How are you doing the tracks? - sorry, forgot you're using Modellkasten...my bad. Cheers, Dierk I gave the original tracks to a friend of mine who needed them for his Tamiya T-34. The modelkasten are a tough build, even after I read ten times their instructions. The links are very weak, I think next time I'll try the AFV ones.

Thank y'all I made some progress, the first of the two tracks is ready: Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, but it isn't easy to move the tank around to put it under the light. Now on to another 72 individual links with 2 pins each...
