Hi guys If you look at the photos coming out of the Nuremberg Toy Fair it seems this is the first release of a 1/35 Bedford series with the following due out later in 2013. Like the guys say all in styrene apparently not a bit of PE in sight The others are… QLB AA tractor, great for towing Bronco’s 40mm Bofors QLR radio van. So far only available as a resin kit…or not as Resicast have stopped production now QLT extended Infantry transporter longer chassis and relocated spare wheel & fuel tank Also; photos of IBG’s stand show boxes for not one BUT three versions of the Marmon Herrington armoured car. Double wow I swear I have seen those trucks in one of classic WWII movies but I can not remember which... Bridge Too Far? Good looking truck! The trucks were used in the film A Bridge Too Far towards the end when the US 82nd Airborne troops (led by Robert Redford) were waiting for British convoy of assualt boats that were being delivered for the Waal river crossing IIRC. I'll try and get some sprue shots. Smudge

Agreed, I can see these being very popular eh? Such iconic trucks and so nice to see them in styrene - the moulds look very crisp in particular in the tilt tie-downs and the grille Hi Dicky. The grill does look good but I think this might have been better in PE; although the kit is supposedly PE free. Not that it matters I suppose all you'd see through the grill would be the radiator. The engine is a shame; unless you're building it with the cab removed for maintenance it'll be completely hidden; the cab on these trucks had to be lifted off completley for anything more than routine maintenance (there was limited access through two removeable panels in the cab floor; I think on later version the 'hump' between the two seats came off entirely) The tilt ropes do look well done...they are moulded on to the kits sides. It looks like IBG provide two options... 1. Open top with seperate tilt hoops; for this they provide seperate cargo bed sides with just the rope hooks moulded on. 2. Closed top. For this they provide the canvas tilt with the cargo bed sides/ropes etc moulded integrally, but with seperate ends and seperate ends for the canvas tilt too. Did you know that they're also releasing three version of the Marmon Herrington? Smudge
