No prob John. Hey, I sometimes forget that I can do it.............and like with the 152 I had to see if I still knew how LOL.
No work on the M-26, BUT I did watch "Greatest Tank Battles" on the history channel last night. Well it was actually recorded. It was about the Korean war. Steve I think I saw your T-34-85 in there.....after it was taken out by my M26 LOL. Seems when the US pushed the N.Koreans back north in the fall of 1950, almost into China. There was a small city that they dug and concealed the T-34's . The US had circled around and hit them from the rear. The T-34's couldn't traverse the barrel round so they were taken out by the Easy Eights and M-26.
Thought it was interesting, especially after seeing a knocked out T-34 behind a ruined wall.

Blimey i`ve missed a big chunk of this thread , some real crackin` work goin` on here fellas.... Thought i`d better join the fun at last with the Skyraider, now this is gonna be a fun build for me coz i know naff all about them.............and it`s not as the box one............this one has gotta alter slightly to fit in with the theme!! I`m not gonna go for an R/C approach tho, just wanna enjoy building it and do some basic stuff.... ;D Now i did start the `office` a while back so i thought i`d stick a couple of WIP pics as a reminder.................never done an office before.... ;D Now a couple of mock up pics just to check fit, gotta bit of tidying up on the top of the fuse as i`ve chopped a couple of bits off that shouldn`t be there................at least thats what the ref pic of this one shows me........... I have chopped of the right bits.............ain`t i CB ;D

Rob that's a nice Pershing mate! Look forward to the next steps! Do you thin the Vallejo primer btw? I have the grey one and used it a couple of times but it seems I can't get a supersmooth finish, even if diluted with their AB cleaner...
Bootsey! Nice update mate, that cockpit looks great!
Cheers

Nice start Boots, gonna be another cool wingiething bud.
As for the Vallejo primer, it's out of the bottle, no thinning. I found you get a nice finish at a high Comp pressure. I spray at about 20-25 PSI. The grey and white primer I think are the best, and have a nice matt finish. the others tend to be a satin finish.
jackwagon this will be an old veteran, with tracks. I'll try to pick up some tracks at the next show in March....but I will still go ahead and paint and weather this old timer.

Rob, nice work, the Vallejo primers are pretty good aren't they, haven't tried the Grey yet though.
Boots, nice office mate, you going to leave the pilot in for the final build?

Ok fellas been a bit quite on the bench just recently coz a few inconviniences too sort out!! Anyway i have been doing little bits here and there........ The prop, the cowling and the visible part of the engine... The tip decs were a bit tight............i`ll probably paint them in if i ever do another wingy!! The prop and cowl dry fitted and some decs on.............also the main body in the `Midnight Blue`........ Also the anti glare section blacked out.......... The only concern i have is the colour contrast between the cowl and the main body...................the cowl was done seperatly the other day......................the body was done today and it`s slightly darker , and the cowl decs are on................i`m hoping i can sort something out!!

I had forgotten how this one looked Steve. The rust is perfect for a fresh brew. Can't tell in the pics but some black pigs for the soot is about all that she needs and you can call her done. Well and some weathering on the green end maybe....dust and dirt type stuff
