BJ, that set is one on my favorites. The satin wheels color is my least fave in the set but I did use it and it's pretty good. All the other colors in the set are dead on and dry nice and flat. I use these as washes and filters as well. Next best sets are the Late war and Dak color sets. Sorry BJ, just had to get that in there...lol

Not much time for modeling this past week end. Plus its been a slow process of pin washing all the road wheels. Here is a small update of where I’m at.

No problem rob, I really liked working with those paints. I have the late war set and DAK set as well. What do you think of the rust set? Sorry BJ, missed that question some how. The rust set is not too bad. The only issue I have with it is that it's too thin. I use paints different ways and with different techniques, and since these are thinned for AB use I have problems getting them to work with my techniques. Otherwise they are not bad at all, especially for AB work. The chipping color included in the set is a bit too thin for my taste. I found it hard to get realistic chips with a fine brush.

IMO the withe wash is a little heavy on the top section Very sweet running gear BigJohn!! I was thinkin the same thing. Wash gets a little heavy when trapped in the zimm...huh Phil. Hey John, I know their only wheels but they look awesome! Now im totally drooolin for some camo on top! Bring it on brother!!! Gary

Very nice work on the wheels BJ. They are a necessary evil on a build like this but at least they are all-steel and don't have rubber rims to worry about.

Thanks Bill, I'm trying to fit the tracks back on as week speek and just broke one............... Gonna have to line it back up good and glue it. That's always a challenge with long track runs! I'm working on the tracks right now for the Neubau and had to divide it up into 4 sections per side to keep things manageable.

I like the wheels. I thought I read somewhere that they stopped doing the tri-color on the wheels cuz when they were rolling they kind of attracted attention.
