Hi again gang. Here are a few pictures of the Katyusha from a week or so ago. As of right now, the basic frame os done, and the rear suspension is almost done. As soon as I figure out how to use Windows 8 I'll try to post more. Thanks very much for all of your interest.

Hi guys, Thanks again for the support. I really appreciate your feedback. Here's a few more pictures of her. As of this afternoon, there are just under 3,000 individual parts on her, and just over 300 hours of actual work. I'm not even going to try to guess how many hours i have spent doing research. I also won't try to guess how many beers this project has taken so far. Thanks Dicky for the advice, I'll try it just as soon as I get my new computer up and running. Attachments:

Thanks very much. You are absolutely correct. The parts do add up very quickly. At the rate I'm going now, the rear suspension should be basically buttoned up fairly soon. I do intend to post her pictures on a regular basis. I thank all of you for your support.

Hello again everybody. I've almost finished the rear suspension. I caught myself starting to rush, so I stopped working on the rear. I'm going to take some time working on the engine. It should be a nice little change of pace for me. Thanks to all of you again. Attachments:

Thank you Leon. I think I have finally gotten over the various mental blocks I was having. The right side of the engine is coming along nicely now. I hope to be able to post some pictures of it fairly soon.

Hello again everybody. It has been a fairly good week on Katy. I have made some good progress on the engine. The right side is done, as is the air filter. The filter is actually a 1/35 scale T-34 photoetched oil tank (it was the right size and shape). The carb is taking quite a bit of time. It's a very small assembly with a whole lot of parts. While I was waiting for the glue to dry on the engine, I started building the base for the launcher. Before I knew it, it was almost done. Again, I thank all of you for your comments and support.

Thank you one and all. I hope to debut this little baby in Indy next spring. Yes I did use hex rod for the bolts. I think I'll use actual hex head bolts on the head of the engine. More to come soon (I hope).
