Hi folks... May I introduce to you... my steampunk outfit for the WGT 2013 [WGT = Wave Gothic Treffen, the biggest meeting of this kind worldwide] is almost finished. This Meeting will take place every Whitsun in Leipzig/Saxony - so the upcoming Weekend will be pure fun! It contains loads of elements from vehicle parts [Trabant clutch!!!], RAF WW2 uniform to motorcycleists back protection, welding goggles [typical steampunk, yay!!!], camera batteries etc. etc... Heres a small "how to" to give you a slight impression of that outfit. Version 1.0 Version 2.0 - WIPHammerite Gold for... Added elements (several thermometers, hygrometers, clutch, cables, guitar strings...) and pastel chalk was thinned and sealed to create a really rusty look. Wors perfect! I put this in the "SciFi corner" cause imho it fits best here - if it doesnt fit here in your opinion, dear mods, please feel fre to put it somewhere else

Great outfit, Lucas. You really nailed the Steampunk look. I'm a big fan of steampunk since I've read the difference engine

Chris: Yep, of course. Even with Sauerkraut, if you like bigjohn: Dieselpunk lies in the future of Steampunk. While Steampunk is completely Victorian Age related, Dieselpunk is mostly based on WW2 objects, tanks etc. The Hasegawa/Nitto/SF3D Maschinenkrieger universe is a very good example for Dieselpunk objects.

Ah yes. Im forcing myself actually through a book about Japanese history - from Yayoi period [ca. 3000 B.C.] to Fukushima. Heavy literature, but most interesting
