I've added extra steps between these, it looks much better now.

And here we go ! I removed the ladder because it made the Admiral less prominent, however I'm glad I tested the look of it. I'll see if I can find another place to install the ladder. See what I mean : Best regards ! AG.

How about moving the ladder to either a) the opposite side (behind the Admiral instead of in front) or b) on the other side of the vertical beam so that it's on the rear side of the Admiral instead of the passenger door area? Option b) could apply to either the front or rear side as well without distracting from the main piece.

I agree, the ladder acted as a curtain, hiding the admiral. Maybe a movable ladder leaning against one of the pillars could do...

I've seen similar structures wandering across Europe, it's so realistic... I didn't know these structures were free to 'roam' where they wanted?? Nice work on the barn Guy,but I do have a question,if I may?.....Why did you make plastic look like wood, when you could have used Balsa wood,etc...? Just the fact this way was quicker?

Cee Bee, I prefer plastic wood, it's fun adding the structure I want with files scalpel knives, sanding paper etc. Painting the plastic wood is simple too. Balsa doesn't have the fine in scale structure I like so much.

Guy, that's exactly what I was thinking of Ceebee, with time and patience even mountains and islands wander around

Hi guys ! The ladder issue...we'll see, I keep moving the sucker until I have found the perfect spot (maybe even hanging on wall hooks ?!). No big deal, I try to keep moving on and now it's the timber roof that caught my attention. The piece of plastic card was only glued on temporary, it helps me lining out the roof edges because it's a barn section I'm building. More soon my friends ! Best regards ! AG.

In my eyes it's in the perfect position right now. I'd hang something on it, just to show it's an abandoned place and the ladder isn't in use.
The rest is magnificent as always, mate. And it will be even better with the paint on.

Leon, thanks mate, the stunningness however has to come from the paint job. Thanks ! Steve, thank you ! It's all coming together now...and I enjoy myself ! Boots, thank you ! I like plastic wood, because I'm a weathering addict. Gary, no problem mate ! I'm glad the eagle has landed ! Wout, thanks my friend, On Discovery Ch. and National Geographic I watch programs like Fast'n Loud, Desert Car Kings, Diggers, Auction Kings...all so inspirational for this project ! Luigi, time to decide if it's better with paint slapped on... Boss, thanks master ! Dicky, PM back a couple of days ago, thanks my good friend ! Bruce, thank you, you all made my day... Time to show some wooden plastic, or is it plastic wood, it's up to you friends to decide if I'm making good progress... I've added more beams and also some of the roof planks were glued on. And there's paint ! Base layer : Buff + Wooden Deck Tan + Laquer Thinner, layer 2 : + White to lighten to create kinda 3D effect. Tomorrow more for sure ! Best regards ! AG.
