Just as long as you don't try to pass off any plastic plastic you'll be fine! Very nice work on the roof and beams, looking good.

Nice! I like the variation in the planks, especially the few that look like they were painted and have been used to repair or patch (at least that's how it looks to me!).

Thanks fellas, I have step 3 for you in a nutshell. - ultramarine blue + raw umber oil paint washes, here and there more used as a filter to add caracter to the different planks, - drybrushing of raw umber oil paint, put on a newspaper to remove the oil in it. And for now, back to the sawing table for the attic floor. Have a fantastic weekend, best regards, AG.

Thank you guys ! This is a close up of the plastic wood, showing the wood texture which was carved with a file, scalpel knife and sanding paper. It's not finished yet, each plank must show its own caracter. I apply different washes of oil paint, so far I mixed ultramarine blue and raw umber in different mixing ratio. More soon (I hope). Best regards ! AG

what is even more crazy and impressive is that they are plastic wooden planks . If I see the last shot, one would think it's the real deal! Cheers

That's wood, it can't be painted plastic. And it's long time worn wood, that's it.
