Hi folks... For those who dont know - Im veeeery Japan-fanatic and am modelling Japanese related subjects quite often those days. One of my absolute favourites, that took a long time to finish is the diorama "The Battle Of Honnoji, 1582". All figures came from Wargames Factory and are 28mm scale. Additionally, I bought me some "Perry Miniatures" for more individual scenes. Weapons [yari >> lances] were optimized, that means every single bamboo stick was replaced. Pure fun to drill those tiny 28mm Hands without losing a tiny thumb or worse! Banners are made from Aluminium foil and florists wire. That simple. But far more attractive than the too thick WGF banners. Had some issues with the diorama itself [putty, putty, putty!!! >> see pictures], but in the end, it came out like I wanted [and that means: still not perfect! ] Measurements: 35 x 20 cm, the hill is ca. 10 cm high [without the torii] Finally, when it was done... I realized that on www.battlefield-berlin.de some veryindividual resine spare heads are for sale. Dont get me wrong, those WGF figures are WICKED. Really worth their price, but aaaaargh, I needed those! Perfectionist, sorry WIP:
