Hi there for a very special modelling project, namely a Junkers Ju 52 from I./KG zbV 1, that crash landed 03.08.1942 in Prague-Ruzyne [15% damage], I need as many informations as possible. Although I was searching several sources, I wasnt able to find any tail code. This project means a lot to me, because it seems my grandfather was on board of this plane. If you have any sources like pictures [from the plane itself, the airport in 1942 etc.], links etc - everything will help]. Of course the 1/48 Revell model will be upgraded with some brass and profiles and it gets a surrounding. Maybe theres even a set of suitable decals? [Reliable] sources I found so far:www.bundesarchiv.dewww.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.dewww.ww2.dkI wrote to the following persons/institutions/...www.eduard.cz | Czech Army Museum VHU Prague | Air Museum Kovarska [CZ] > main theme is the Battle over the Ore Mountains 11/09/44, but who knows - maybe theyre smarter. Theyre Czech people, right? |"Flugzeug Classic" Magazine | and phoned several modellers. It'll take some time until Im happy with the research - guess I cant avoid a little bit of fiction anyways. And I hope [really, really hope!!!], that Im gonna finish that one before.... well, hes 87 now, know what I mean?! Like I said, this dio is something VERY personal and means reallya lot. Many thanks in advance for your help! Regards Lucas

Hope you're able to find what you're after Lucas! Nothing like building something that's close to your family's history, sounds like a great project!
