I love the look of this kit! Wish I could find one, without having to mortgage the house :-) Will be following along

I built on of these and found it to be a trying build with some parts that did not lend themselves to easy assembly. The original from the factory had a Masonite lined interior painted green.

Thanks. Yes, the rear compartment is all lined. There isn't too many parts in this kit, but they make up for it with the decals:)

This is such a nice lookin' vehicle....is it rare? Just wondered about Steven's mortgage comment? I was watching one on Fleabay the other day from the UK and it went for £26 - is it that a good price, seems reasonable. DickyF
Prices seem to be running upwards rather quickly but there has always been a few on the US fleabay site and I think I paid less than $20 US when I did mine I just wish that AFV or Bronco would roll out a new one as this one has its problems.
Dogfish7
An observation on mine the decals were so old that they had to have a couple of coats of Future on them and I still had one shatter and the were a little yellowish.

I haven't seen one for less than 50-60 euro for a loooong time. BTW, Bruce, great start, looking forward to seeing more. As you can imagine, I'm another one who wants one

Wow, you had a lamp-induced near-death experience with this one? Would never know by looking at it. Looking forward to the next steps with the markings and weathering Bruce.

Bet this was the hardest out of all seven builds because of its size and age? Looking awesome! Makes me want to sneak in and get me some nice relaxing "medicine"...

B U G G A R O O would you look at that. You could have saved a lot of paint Fish if you had put the decals on first and then painted around them. W O W Tony lee

Nice save on the collision and I must say nothing is showing from broken parts. The handles for the rear doors are very well done, I don't remember that much detail, I'll have to look at mine again. The front doors look like they fit very well, I had a lot of trouble with mine. Your decals are amazing, the kit I bought must have been much older than yours because I had a serious problem with shattering and could only save them by coating with Future before application. Great build!

It took me all day to decal 7 models and saved the WC54 for last. Didn't want to mess up on those huge decals.
