Thanks Bill, today I will continue this part of the job.
Luigi, here's the plan my friend :
- adding all the cork parts,
- brushing water thinned wood glue onto the structure (this will harden the cork as it wil absorb the liquid),
- airbrushing on a white primer,
- airbrushing on the brick/granite colors,
- adding spackle to the entire structure and removing it again to create the joints between the bricks,
- finetuning the tones of the bricks by brush painting,
- weathering the building,
- open a bottle of bubbles to celebrate the finish of this sh*t LOL !
Dicky, thanks, you're always ready to keep me motivated !
Andy, it looks quite big but in fact it isn't that huge, it's 28 cm in hight.

Brother Gary, thank you ! You should be surprized if I tell you the (many !) things concerning modelling I'm not capable of doing... Brother Deano, the cork has the perfect structure, certainly after adding the spackle to it. Brother Luigi, that's the most important stage of the whole procedure, REMOVING cork and enjoy bubbly booze. Not much of an update friends, if it's getting boring tell me... ...more cork...cork...cork...cork...cork... * Gary, for this project I need many French Resistance fighters (Maquis) to fill the street with, some of them will be converted and/or sculpted, I'll show you then how I'm not capable of doing well... Best regards ! AG.

The fascinating part of dealing with cork is that each brick has its own individual shape and texture, making them realistic with the only effort of cutting to shape and glueing them What kind of bubbly drink were you thinking of?

Now that's some fine masonry work going on here AG! Just make sure you don't lose the cork in your beer and you'll be fine.

Keep at it! Don't give up! Hundreds of cork brick or cobblestone pieces are hard work. But the finished building is unbeatable.
