The Char B1 Bis is as good as finished and next to do is some figure painting, I will start with these two French tank crew men having a chat and a smoke between the actions. Civilians, infanry soldiers, resistance etc. will be added too later on... Best regards ! AG.

You keep making it better, figures are good for scale and make these new mini dio's that have been on the rise a nice appearance.

Hey guys, It's time to pick up this thread again... I have to wait for the corrugated iron stuff for my Rusty Admiral barn section. In a couple of weeks I'd like to build a street section with a destroyed factory wall section as a background. This is a photo I will use as a guideline, I like the blue and red tones : ONLY for reference purposes ! Best regards ! AG.

Thanks friends ! The coming weeks I will try to inspire you to work with cork and I guarantee it will be big fun. The cork will be used to make bricks (6mm X 2mm and 1mm thick). These small bricks will be glued on one by one onto a surface known as architects board, I use white glue (wood glue). I purchased 10mm and 5mm tick board. Best regards ! AG. ***An update follows by each phase of the construction.

Hi Andy, working with cork can be very effective if done the right way. These French tanks were in fact superior in 1940, but they weren't used well tactically. Thanks buddies !

Thanks buddies ! Today I started drawing the ruined factory corner. I cut the architect's board into shape. Now I have a base to (wood)glue on the cork bricks and ornaments. Best regards ! AG.

Nice start, does the architect's board go under the commercial name of Forex (that is a polistyrene sheet sandwiched between cardboard)?
