Hey all here is another Paper Bunker dio im working on alongside the Horten Hanger this new dio will be in 1/35 and im using the German REIHMAG bunker as inspiration what will go inside is still under wraps at the moment all i can say is it will involve a paper panzer scenario as the title suggests ;)anyway onto the build the bunker is made from MDF then the photo paper is stuck to that i got the idea of how to make the bunker from Slava Trudu as he has made a version of this bunker in 1/72 for a wingie dio. So far the walls ceiling and doors have been made the floor and ventilation system will be done next REFERENCE PHOTOS FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY Reihmag bunker another photo of how the inside walls and ceiling looked My progress so far wall into ceiling now some pics to show the size of this dio :0 now b&w for a bit of fun all questions and comments welcome Dan B

Crazy!! But I'm a little confused, did you paint the walls or are they printed on 'photo paper'? Either way looks brilliant.

Dan, Very impressive I am looking forward to more of this! One observation though and it may be intended but there is an obvious repeat pattern in the concrete panels on your back wall? Are you going to break it up? or is it meant. Superb setting tho!!! Tony

That's Fabulous! Tony may be right about the repeating patterns. But that can easily be covered up with electrical boxes, pipes and "bunkery things".
It looks great!

Leon Glad your here buddy much appreciated Wouts This looks bigger in the pics really buddy and the answer to the space issue is i aint got no ferkin room left with this thing in the cave might have to put an extension on the garage lol when its finished and have used it for some shows i might sell it or give it away as i have no cabinet big enough to display it cheers for looking in fella Dogfish my thoughts exactly buddy this will be used for future armour and wingie projects if i can find room to store it Wingnut thanks buddy much appreciated Tony yes im afraid i had to repeat the pattern in a few bits as i only had 1 picture to use for the walling but once i get the crane and other bits in there i dont think you will be able to notice it as much i hope :? also i wante to put a set of metal doors on the far left so this might help to break the wall up a bit cheers for the comment buddy John thanks for the comment buddy i will add some bits so this might help a bit Tigerazor the concrete is printed from real photos of shuttered concrete it is printed onto Canon craft photo paper for model making also a good printer helps too Deano thanks for looking in buddy much appreciated Mersajohn we will see matey all depends on what the judges are looking for ey Dan B

Chriss Thanks buddy that trip into the tunnels sounds amazing i would love that i have heard about the the tunnels and the things stored there for his evacuation some reports say AH escaped from Berlin in a light aircraft from one of the streets in Berlin but when you add up all the difficulties of the Berlin scenario it does not look possible have you any photos of these tunnels on your trip? I will be adding posters and such like when i get the basic structure finished im having troubles with the flooring at the moment so the interior furnishings seem a long way off Bill thanks buddy glad ya here Andy thanks buddy if it looks ok in your eyes then i must be on the right track cheers buddy Dan B
