Leon
Thanks for looking, I think making progress should be the term with out nice which implies moving right along, when I get to some posts you will see that my speed has been just kind of stumbling due to the resin AM kit slow down.

Nice progress Bones! The only known cure for Leffleritis is a stiff dose of Dicky's Patented Death Threat Elixir! That's the one he makes by distilling white styrene, am I right? Dicky's recipe is a closely guarded secret, but white stuff is definitely involved. He's the UK' version of Colonel Sanders...now we just have to figure out what the other 10 ingredients might be and we can make Andy dance like a puppet!

One is a large beaker of essence of Kate Upton so there are 9 more.

Time for some more posts on the engine compartment so no one thinks I drove it off to join Andy's missing link.
Below shows the new resin Tank Workshop Fire Wall for the crew compartment detailing. Also shown are some scratch items for the engine compartment to correct some of Verlinden's mistakes. Of course there are my mistakes that have to be corrected also, the generator/fan drive units in each of the back corners do not set on the floor but are just below the styrene tabs for the fire system cones just above them. The oil cooler I am making sets on the Lt sponson. Here we are with a different prespective on the one above. Here we have one of the MANY dry fits, the engine is just setting there while I continue to try to get it to fit in the Tasca compartment which it is supposed to do with a minimum or no modification according to the box instructions. I have to tell all who think they will do this too decide early on if you are going to detail the crew compartment because if not you can move the fire wall ahead about 4 to 6mm and the engine would be much easier to install. My detailing the crew compartment makes it so I dont want to loose that space and start to chase it forward so I have had to make a number of modifications to the engine and fire wall to get a very tight fit. Note that I have moved the generator/fan drives up to thise correct height. Also the ends of the fuel tanks are now shown on the rear sponson. The forward end on the left one appears to be setting away from the fire wall and has been corrected.

I have time for a little more information.
We have the finished oil cooler and fuel tanks, I will never understand how an engineer/surveyor with over 40 years on experence can not get the tanks on wach side symmetrical but I didn't but I'm calling the good enough for who its for and moving on. On the left sponso are two oil filters that Verlinden omitted and I am going to drive myself crazy plumbing them up.The following are the instruction for the Tank Workshop interior parts which you can see number 77 separate parts as the directions, like a lot of resin kits is fairly sketchy with one more part I see is missing. I am fortunate in having some decent reference materials and some good hands on MSC to fall back on.

I know it's not going a very popular question, but how much of this splendid detailing job will be seen?
I mean, I love it, it would be such a waste to hide it...

Bruce
Thanks for looking, the world can always use more Guacamole.
Andy
I drank more than my share of beer when I was young and foolish so I'm restricted to O'Douls now.
Gary
It looks a whole lot better to me now that I have figured out how to get it in behind the engine, I wasn't sure there for awhile.

Nemo
Thanks for looking and I have to agree with Luigi also, I'm worried about my ideas for an SU152 because they do not lend themselves to open viewing which leaves "cutaway" which I have never attempted.

As I start to dig into the parts I am beginning to see a big job ahead and I am at this point hopeful that I will be up to finishing it, time will tell.

OMG, that's one of the finest ways of showing the interiors I've ever seen...
It would be even better if the rack was made of perspex or sumthin like that.

Not familial with the products you are talking about I assume they are clear which would be something unavailable to me but the next stand I make will be with smaller tubing.

Yep, it's a plastic transparent material. Why is it unavailable?

Yep, it's a plastic transparent material. Why is it unavailable? Because I live many miles from anywhere that would deal in those types of product and without handling such a product I would not feel comfortable in buying it blindly.

RBaer
The finish is what will be telling, had a little scare yesterday with the fact that the Tasca kit does not provide for fitting a gun or an inside mantlet and the resin kits gun is less than an ideal representative substitute but in looking at pictures I have decided a I can fake something too pass as long as no experts on M4's gets a look at it.
Before Texas you wouldn't be one of the Ohio Baer's would you?

Well it has been a few days since my last post, the building of the main gun has caused me to have to make some corrections to the OOB Tank Work Shop resin parts and the changes have been a little above my usual building skill but I have plodded on so shortly here I will be posting the rebuild main gun. First will be some more engine compartment shots as I am near to having it ready to paint some of the smaller details so I can set the engine which I must set before I can set the crew compartment firewall.
My main concern is the I don't get accused of having Leffleritist and have my builds disappear, I cant be just an Andy because I don't have any woman after me concerning marriage proposals so it would have to be Leffelritist.
Here we have the engine compartment near ready with the radiator, and side walls in place. Some more improvements. Ready for the engine, it will be painted white and then some deatil painting before setting the engine which is ready. The engine is just set in the compartment with the air cleaner set on it to see how we fit. Like I pointed out earlier the compartment is approximately 6mm to short.

The start of my main gun fix, the below two are what an M4A3E2 reviver should look like when in place. Below we see TWS includes in their M4A3 interior kit, in fairness it is not labeled as for the E2 but should be the same as they used the 76mm mount with the 75mm gun in the E2, in any event some change is going to have to be made.Another pic showing what the mount looks like in the Tasca turret, this looks close to being something that could represent the E2 gun mount connection, maybe Tasca is thinking interior "someday."Did not want to take off too much but can now see I need to go back to the recoil tubes removing all the big dog knot from the OOB part.More too come later.

Please I am about as far from a rivet counter as one can get, I do like what I build to at least as far as my talents allow, appear like the real thing.

Luigi & Todd
Thanks for looking and it could be said I resemble fat so Todd is not so far off. When you see the protection rods on the rear of the Breach you will see how far one can get from rivet counting when making it look "kinda" like the original.
