Working now on a fourth figure. The MG08 on an AA mount has been added and all of the ammo cans, grenades, spent shells, rifles etc.. will start going in next week. Slowly getting there...

Two of the figures are from Jon Smith Modellbau. The 3rd figure is a modified Jeff Shiu kit. The trench is scratch built. Jon Smith figures (The best WW1 stuff!) are available right here: shop.lastcavalry.com/jon-smith-modellbau/I love his stuff and WW1 is my favorite modeling era. Working on a conversion of another one for this dio right now. ...and thank you! Dave

Without embarrassing anyone too much but you are the MASTER Dave! Such beautiful work as they seem to come to life before my eyes. I'm going to try my hand at figures once more but I can only hope they come out half as nice as this. Ever thought of doing a seminar on figures? Jeff

Thanks for the nice feedback! Jeff, I am doing a seminar at the IPMS regions in Michigan in May and I did one a few years ago at the AMPS Nationals. As soon as this project is done I will be starting a new LC-TV series shop.lastcavalry.com/lctv/ on painting a figure with acrylics, I'll keep you posted! Dave

The thing I love the most among your splendid painting skill is the ability to give them an expression. This one has a nostalgic look in his eyes that touches my soul. Outstanding job, Dave.
