I went into Nottingham the other day with permission to spend £20. Then I saw this. One £2.95 overspend later and i'm a happy man. I don't know yet how much detailing i'm going to add. It's dependent on how good the reference pics are that I find. I'm tempted to light the head and tail lights but that depends on if I can figure out how to do it. Here is the first dry fit. Paint wise it will be standard with the exception of the name in the window

Nice progress, looks like a decent kit.
The best way to remove chrome plating from plastic is to submerge it in bleach for an hour or so., the chrome plating will dissolve and leave the pristine plastic.

Looking good.
Fairy Power Spray works well too, pop the parts in a plastic baggy, squirt in some power spray, seal the bag and leave for a few hours. No nasty chrome and the styrene is unharmed.
