I've to have done the ol' out with he old and in with the new. It's like rotating that canned goods on the shelf. Eventually you'll be selling what ya just got for what's hot at that time. But for the here and now.... nice stuff! Who does that? I just push the old back with the new and soon you will discover ancient kits... and no spoilage either! LOL Jeff

Nice! Glad to see that Tamiya's running with the Tasca plastic. Honestly, it's a great partnership. Tasca's Shermans are about as good as armor gets, and Tamiya's got the distribution chops to get them deeper into the market. And considering the glacial pace at which Tamiya's been developing their in-house armor kits...

Bronco! Picking the scheme for this one's going to be really tough. Before I had it in my hands, I was thinking the gray/green/black wraparound camo for sure, but now I find myself looking at the desert scheme and a gray/gray camo option as well. They all look great.

Oh man, that stuff looks killer.
I always feel out of my depth in armor aftermarket, much less diorama stuff. It's almost like that Don Rumsfeld thing - with armor it's known unknowns, things I know I don't know. With dioramas it's unknown unknowns.

What is the kit's name on the upper left? Some kind of prototype and what year is it from?
Looks interesting!

Etokin? Had never heard of those guys...certainly don't recognize the packaging either. Should be a VERY interesting build!

It's a Type 75 155mm SPH from Etokin Models, full resin kit with some plastic parts (wheels and tracks), metal gun. It's complete but you need some Tamiya Type 74 OVM parts for some details. I might have bought the last kit, it's not listed anymore at HLJ. Here's a photo of the real one from Wikipedia. Cheers, Christophe Oh, okay! It looks interesting to say the least... nice score! Jeff

There's this page about Etokin at Armorama. www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=11037&mode=thread&order=0I have all the kits and conversions they have produced to date : Type 74 105mm SPH (full kit) Type 73 APC (full kit) Type 78 ARV (conversion for Tamiya Type 74 MBT) Type 75 155mm SPH (full kit) Type 90 ARV (conversion for Tamiya Type 90 MBT)
Very high quality, low volume resin kits/conversions. Cheers, Christophe Interesting. Very expensive? Jeff

Glad that Santa didn't bring you coal... Can't wait to clean my airbrush with the new ultrasonic cleaner. Promised myself not to get a kit but I had a change of heart when I saw that little Pz II at the hobby shop. It was only $30... one of my planned builds for 2015.

I wouldn't mind hearing your opinion on the ultrasonic cleaner after you put it through its paces. Harbor Freight product right?

Sure I will do that. My wife said she brought it at Harbor Freight for $80. A buddy of mine brought it to the club meeting few months ago so I could clean my AB. It sprayed great afterward. I was surprised to see how much dirt it managed to clean off the AB at the end of the Fleming cycle.

Andy, I'd love a report on the cleaner myself. I've been considering one for a while now...just not sure if it would work equally well on the Lacquer and Enamels I use...seems most people I know that use them are dealing with Acrylic only. Marc, that kit looks familiar. I guess I'm not the only one that really enjoyed Bill's build
