Stunning. Beautiful build and I love the effect you've gotten with the AK stuff. I really like their line of products. Do you use their specific band white spirit? I've been using art store stuff, but it causes hazing sometimes so I had to forgo using AK until I find something that works a little better.

Thanks Jimmy. I use the odorless mineral spirits from whatever home center I'm in when I need it and never had a problem.

No need to apologize Marc, you've got to make the most of benchtime when you can! Very nice weathering finish on this one.

Hey Wingy, SUPERB JOB! After building my first wingy over the last few weeks I can see how they can become very addictive. It's not armour but it makes for a great change and terrific chance to try out new methods - I picked up a 1/48 Airfix Spit on Monday following completion of the first wingy - Tamiya 1/72 Mozzie (I'll start the Spit today I promise guys). I'm not going to be around for several weeks starting Monday 28th July and hate having unfinished shelf queens so I thought I'd buy this Spit to tie me over between now and leaving time. No engine and very basic interior so it should be a quick build. I love how you've got them in all sizes - I'm a big fan of the Stuka and have Italeri's 1/48 version in the stash (that's a big kit) and you've got me thinking about how cool it would be to have them in all scales like you have with your 109's? Hmmmmm? Again, cracking build Sir - top job! Ben

Missed this one too. Love the desert 109's, something about the colors I think.
