Hi Guys! I am a busy boy. While my T-34 awaits primer, i wanted to build something else (and some people on my club say ''something different than a T-34 Remco'') and Luis wanted someting new here then stuff i placed on Facebook I had an idea with a Ba-64b, beeing run of the road by shooting Gemans, of the hill, smacked against a tree. While the Russian crew trying to escape, the Germans came to look if they had a kill. Then they get shot by the driver... Nice plans, but i had to buy some stuff. So i used my wife's creditcard (i hope she don't read this ) and bought the following (and a bit more, but thats another story) - Miniart Ba-64b 35097 - Minor Ba-64 complete detail update PE set VMD 35013(notthing minor here, this is huge!) - Tank figures ''escaping soviet tankcrew'' T-35101 - Tank figures German SS grenadiers in combat T35118 - Trofee standard - Block of styrofoam 15 by 15 cm - Tree Here are some photo's of the work so far... The stuff... Framework Lower hull Inside Asambled a bit... Hope you like it! Regards, Remco

Thanks for the kind words guys! @ Luis- The damage will consist out of a crushed fender between the hull and tree. I don't think there will be lot of damage on the hull of the crash. The hull was 15mm steel and the speed not so high. Here i got some of the Tank figures. These figures are the one of the best i have ever seen. Only Bravo 6 makes beter figures, maybe... Unfortunally the plastic bag has been riped, and some pieces of the tankers hat (flaps) has broken off. Also the fragile Naggant revolver has been broken. Due the riped bag, they feld out and are gone :-( I had ordert once a pistol/revolver set from tank, so the revolver i can replace. The tankers hat i have to see what i can do about it. Detail is off the scale so i have to do a flawless piece of restoration here. Challanges, challages...

Dierk, the next time i get my wife's flexible friend again, i hope to buy a T-80 (with the PE, tracks and barrel stuff) and from Dio park the Mercedes with E.I.D. Or a T-62m with the stuff needed ;-) The Minor set is surprisingly friendly to work with. Altough it seem a sh*tload of PE, building goes quite ok. There are a lot of PE bolts included, but i think i wil do the bolts and nuts with my punch and die sets. This brings out the 3D effect more. Here i got a photo of the seat. they say to cut the srtuts and replace them with something else. I used styrene spru from Evergreen (a modelers best friend!), and bend it in the right angles. Unfortunally one broke (ofcourse my luck!), and i had to do it again... with succes! The angels i used were spot on and it fitted perfectly! Regarts, Remco

Looking good Remco, nice progress on the interior. Be careful about those flexible friends, they can turn on you if you're not careful!

Great job, Remco. I love all the details you're adding to the interior. I hope the doors will be open to show all the goodies inside

Hi guys!
Don't worry about the flexible friend, i have enough stuff to work with. I buy only what i need, not what i want ( and i want much!!) The doors are all open and the turret is also free of crewmembers. I first had the idea that the guy in the back comes crawling out of his turret, but then you don't see the very nice interrior. And that is why i bought this set, to see whats inside ;-) This is indeed a iconic AC. The angles are copied from a captured Sdkfz. 222. I never saw a Ba-64b on a show. Strange, it looks cool and is a nice filler for diorama's. Its a reare model to see in modelingland... I have not continued the build, because i am primering the T-34 now. A friend brought a nice piece of wood that is good for a base for my KV-1...oh,oh, more work ;-p

Clean-up and restauration of the figures is in full progress. On vacation i miss a new nagant revolver and a holster for the nagant. I went to quick and a piece of resin chipped of the holster (bad word here). Restoration of the german helmets is on their way and almost complete. This is the first time my figures are completed, then my vehicle. I also miss my Dremmel tool, to hollow out the tire. I wanted to do this, but airbrushing the T-34 had more proirity. The rim is also holled out with the use of a file. If the tire is hollow, then the rim is saged in the tire fore a more realistic look when crashed. The tire has than run of the rim. When i have completed the figures and wheel, i wil post pictures (yeah!!!)
Regards,
Remco

Hey Guys! Well, i finnished the figures. After some intensive sanding, surgery and restauration, the figures are ready. The flaps of the helmet were broken and i fixed it with some lead foil, a sponge and coper wire. The holster for the Naggant revolver still has the gun in it, while the driver holds his gun. This is not correct and i cut the top off. I made from some lead foil a new flap that stands open, and the holster empty. Unfortunally the Nagant revolver has broken off, and i replaced it with a new revolver from Masterclub.
