I started it at 7am yesterday morning and ended at 9:30pm last night. Today the shop was opened at 8am and I shut her down at 6pm. It's gone together like a snap despite the instruction errors. After I paint the interior i'll install the breech. This week is in the books Tony lee

Hey Bill I started the Trumpeter IVb and it looked different, hull looked small, wheels looked small, turret looked small. I checked the box and it said 1/35th but this thing can't be 1/35th or someone screwed up B I G time. Compared to DML (darker gray color) Wheels Turret Hull Hull w/turret Then I checked the internet and found your report. People are upset about the Dragon M103 how come no one really bitched about this one? Very disappointed Tony lee

Probably because the kit came out several years back Tony and was of a subject that only a few people cared about! I recall the build on this one being 'interesting' to say the least.

Bill I can think of a much better double word for it. I had to do some major surgery at the rear today. It don't look too bad sitting there by itself. Later Tony lee

It's a totally different beast... Looks like they got the perspective wrong when taking the measures for the back of the beast. Fast and smooth as always, Tony Two thumbs up.

So who's gonna find this beast and measure it to find out which kit is right? I have the Trumpeter kit but I went the other way and bought both brands of the "Grasshopper" instead. (I liked Bill's build that he did a few years ago that much.) Seeing them side-by-side shocked the heck out of me! Jeff

I'm done with this one,it's not even worth wasting the paint on it. At least warmer temps are on the way, maybe Tony lee Oh... it's not that bad. Too bad it doesn't have more 'bling' on it and THEN I'd leave it paint-less. At least you can separate them on different shelves? Thanks for pointing this out Tony. Jeff

I used the driver view port armor shield to replace the missing DML item. I'm also saving the copper tow cable and PE fender braces for the Dragon too. It was for an OOB GB anyway and it's sure nuff out of the box. I'm not a rivet counter by any means but there was no excuse for this to be this far out of wack.
