Sorry for the delay gentlemen. End of school year for two high school kids and two college kids. Kinda crazy around here. Thank you as always Leon for your support and comments. Bill, Thank you as well for your support and comments. I'd love to have this or something comparable on my front lawn to discourage speeding down my street. It's getting close to the finish line. Just a bit more weathering to do. Today I installed the wiper armature for the range finder. This was the last of the bits and bobs to install. Just a simple piece of 0.008" brass wire soaked in Blacken It and glued in place. The part I couldn't get a pic of was the range finder glass. Just a piece of styrene painted with Vallejo Tail Light Green and, then clear coated. A bit of weathering with MIG engine oil and grease Now what would it be without a big machine gun? The tow cables are all done and installed. The cable portion was painted with Vallejo Oily steel and then received dusting of MIG pigment. The rear cable and un-ditching log. Thank you for your support and patience. Dave

Good morning Sabre, Thank you kindly for the compliment. The chipping was done with some Vallejo Basalt Grey and a small piece of packing foam.
Good morning Delta, Thank you very much for the compliment.
Good morning Leon, Thank you as always good sir.
Good morning Bill, I agree! There are a good many things that require attentions. It's getting there.
Cheers Dave

Good evening Andy & Rbaer, Thank you for your support gentlemen. This has been a busy summer. Now that summer is done, kids are back in school and, the bench has been rebuilt. The T-72 is complete. I'll get completed pics up in the coming days. With the bench rebuild, I started on a Dragon T-34/76 to check the flow of the new bench. I got started on the base coat and fell into a "commission" build. An F9F-2 for a lady whose husband flew them in Korea. So, this is the first time where I've had more than one build on the bench. More to come gents.
Dave

Good evening Bill, Thank you kindly for the compliment. It was about time that I got the finished pics posted! Good evening Andy, Thank you my friend. It was a joy to build….yes, even with all of the scratching of parts. The mud spatters were done with my trusty toothbrush that my kids used when they were 2-3 years old….They're now almost 17. Where the heck did the time go? Dave
