Tree numberrrr 2, it is a bit difficult to make a shoot of the whole trees, waiting for a larger background so i can make bigger pics.. Now it is time to finish the figure and start with number 2. When finished i make the SBS for pine trees, shoot a lot of pics of every step. Now back to the mancave and paint! Thnx for checking in and let me know what ya"ll think so far :shifty:

Finaly finished the first figure and worked trough the pea dot camo of the second dude his jacket  This figure was real nice to do and is done with acrylics and the camo with oils. It works great to connect all spots together in several thin layers and see the build up just like the real fabric. Don't do a lot of figures because i realy need to focus and always need two shots getting it right Thnx again for watching and till next time :shh:

Still on the move, i test fitted the second figure but still not finished. Painted the pea dot camo yesterday and this evening i faded the jacket so the colors are less bright and give it some shades. I let it dry for now before spraying a couple of thin layers Vallejo. Matt and then give it some final touches. The wires look a bit to thick on the pics but in real life it is ok. They were a pain to glue on and i can still adjust them a bit. Next is to paint some details on the JP, clean the base and...ready?

SBS Making pinetrees The materials Round piece of wood Asparagus leaves ( the flat ones) Hairspray White glue Paint Etc. Step 1 For this tree i choose a round wooden stick, some use balsa or you can choose for the real deal. The wood is treaten with a steel brush to make a natural structure, just do it random so you got the look of a real tree Step 2 Make a point to the wood with a sharp nife, again do it random for a natural effect, after that use the steel brush again Step 3 Sand down the marks a bit you made with the steel brush and make vertical lines to make it look even more natural Step 4 Punch or drill tiny holes for the leaves, i used a old airbrush needle in the soft wood Step 5 Cut down the leaves , big ones below and tiny ones on top and treath them with hairspray. After that bend the leave to get that natural look of hanging pine tree leaves Leftside the original and rightside the bend down leave Step 6 Make a sludge wash with the paint you prefer and add it to the wood in several layers Step 7 When all the leaves are done attach them with white glue, the large ones at the bottem and work your way to the top After that airbrush them in several green tones That's it folks, there are all sorts of trees, study them and do what is best for your diorama. I choose for not to much leaves because the JP is standing under it and i didn't want to loose to much sight. The end result
