Nice, this is a real killer version of the Hercules. Been on a ride with the regular version a couple of times and its impressive ( and noisey ) You gonna camo it? Yes.

Hi guys,made a start on the AC-130.Landing bay and office are glued up.Need to prime and do some painting before I can continue.Need to prime and paint the dashboard separate then glue in.Sorry about the pics,really hard to photograph the black plastic.Hope you like the progress so far. Thanks for looking.

It doesn't look like there's a lot of parts, buy when you factor in the cleanup on all of them there may as well be three times as many!

Dupes,there is hardly any cleanup except where I cut the parts off the sprue.All the parts look pretty flash free.

Anthony the wing span on this will be 22".Pretty darn big for 1/72 scale.

to this very day, I'll never forget my first ride in a C130! Just knew it was going down at any moment. AC130's were the new kid on the block when I went home. Maybe in action 90 days. We had an AC47 setting on the runway in DaNang with our name written on it, and used it a couple times a month. Guys a little south were using AC119's, but they never came up our way. It was just that one AC47 working the night shift for us.
Ironically, I ended up working on the TF56 engine project when I came home. Can still remember watching those guys hand fitting the props. gary
