Cool to play around with the stuff before all is cemented in! The figures look very convincing, from what brand are they? And, hehe, this will be a workload to do when you are going to paint them!

The Trumpeter set was more expensive than the other figure sets form this manufacturer (means here in Germany) but they are worth the money, because they are top detailed, crisp and in a very good shape. Great plastic stuff! You will have mucho fun when painting them!! To my opinion, an undercoat of black or grey is not nessessary because normaly thinned acrylic paint adheres very well to this kind of plastic!

NOOOOO!!! You fell into Todd's trap... Vallejo paint set! I am only kidding... those is the exact same set I use on my figures and busts. You won't be disappointed... be sure to thin the paint a bit before you use it.
Great choice on the figures by the way...

Frank thank you!Have to agree with you on the Trumpeter figures. Tobias thank you! I was thinking the same about the MB figures. Andy thank you buddy ! I really like the Vallejo paints better than my Tamiyas.A little bit goes a long way. Thanks for the reminder to thin the paint.

Hell yes! Vallejo colours are far better for brush painting compared to the Tamiya stuff (I think they are very good for airbrushing, but with a normal brush? No way!) I can highly recommend the colours from LifeColor, they have way cool sets, too and some special sets like Moss and Algae.
Did anyone use the new Wilder colours and pigments for painting figures??

Leon, what colour did you use to lighten up the black Burka of the woman? I have tried sometimes flesh as lightening colour mixed with the black and it looks a bit "warmer" than adding white to it. Damn it, must have this set, too! Cool till now. Will you dust the figures a bit when adding to the dio?
