Next up is a Tristar 1/35 Pz Kpfw 38 (t) with full interior. I picked a couple of these up at MosquitoCon a few years back as a show special for $15. Part heavy (love that ) and just the fact the tires are separate from the wheels... I am already loving the heck outta this kit. Box got a little water damaged but the plastic is just fine.

No WAY! Love it! Really looking forward to this. I was pawing over one of their 38(t)s in the stash yesterday (although it was the E/F variant) wondering when I could cram that into the rotation.

There hasn't been any activity there since September. So are we doing this? I'm certainly game if anyone else is. And I'm assuming we're going "straight" 38(t)s versus 38(t) chassis-based vehicles?

Man, you guys are killing me. Just went through the list and I've got a "fully loaded" Maquette 38(t) Ausf. G with some Bison Hungarian decals. Wingy does the Tristar, Todd does the DML, I cover Maquette...get some other fellas to cover the other variants?

Tristar's kits of the 38(t) are the 'gold standard' IMHO for that particular vehicle. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you guys do with this.

While the voices in my head are a little more reasonable, what they say is:
I'm in with the Dragon 38(t) G with interior (Smart Kit)....
Ooooo I do love all things 38(t) chassis.....

Yeah Bill I too remember that one and had planned to take a look at what you did.
Yeah Boyd that's I'm talkin' about. No mucking around.... jumps right in.
So if this is now an official duel... whoever is in consider yourself slapped in the face with my gauntlet. Do this get transferred over to the duel section or do we just gang bang it here

Full interior!!!! YEEE HAAWWWW....count me in! I did one of the Tristar Panzer IVs. It was a nice kit, but no interior....can't wait to see your magic on this one.

As there has been a face-slapping via gauntlet, this thread has officially become a "duel" and has moved into the appropriate forum.

Speaking of gang bangs, I'm also throwing my hat into the ring! Since Wingy has Tristar covered, and Boyd is going to tackle the DML offering, then I'm obligated to use this kit to finish the trifecta (trifecta for now, anyway!). Maquette kit from Mother Russia. I've done a couple of their kits before - a T-34/76 and a Lince armored car. They're not nearly as bad as they could be! With a bit of work they can finish up quite nicely. So, what's in the box? Warning - NOT what you're going to find in a Tristar or DML box! Yes, there are some pretty "soft" moldings and a good bit of flash to contend with. In order to help rectify that, I'll be using this pile o' stuff: It's the usual "way more money in aftermarket than actual kit" situation. Have been waiting to start on my Hungarian collection of armor builds, so this is the perfect time! Cracking into this set of Bison decals: In order to not fall behind Mr.Nut too far I'm going to sweep every other build off of the bench and get rolling on this one immediately. Updates soon!
