Hi guys, Another MSC member passed this forum onto me a few days ago so I thought I should check in. Originally from New Zealand, I have been living in Belgium the past 14 years. I first started out with Tamiya kits as a youngster after seeing the amazing work of Verlinden , stopped for a long period of time and started seriously again when turning 30. My main interests are 54mm figures/dioramas and recently started to try sculpting out for the first time. Anyways, I hope you all have had a great Xmas!! Shay

Welcome aboard Shay! Belgium and beer... lucky you! LOL Hi guys, Let's not forget the beautiful women and chocolates!! Kudos to Wouter for mentioning this forum to me , and thankyou for the warm welcome! I have had a good look around the forum and I like the diverse amount of subjects and the helpfulness shown to other members. I even recognise a few other members from elsewhere! At the moment I am working on a few figures, a 54mm Gnome and dio, a strange inbred looking fisherman (he looks like something from Deliverance!) and my first attempt at sculpting Winnie the Pooh & Piglet... My main interest used to be military, but after a painting workshop from Gino Poppe and various discussions with him at my former modelling club my style changed a great deal. I really have a great respect for Gino as a person, my style of painting used to be terrible but he taught be an incredible amount in such a short time...still on the learning curve though!! I will post some pics up soon, Shay
