Nice dry brush around the Jerry can. Also a good color choice for the seat cushions. She looks a little clean, though. Looking forward to weathering.
I've seen this figure set on the sprue. It seems like Waving Guy's arm is far too long. It's too bad, really. They've got the potential to be a really nice set.

The Jeep looks killah, Bob, really nice, crisp, clean building and paintjob! Do you plan to do some weathering on him or let him more or less newer on the cool flower base? I mean, a heavily weathered Jeep would maybe not fit onto the Base. It is more like a Sunday afternoon, peacefull and busy. As for the Minicraft figures. Please, can you do one or two pics of the sprues??? I would like to buy them too but when they are so disgusting, it might be easier to sculpt the stuff I need on my own... The Flic is the person of main interest.

Some nice work there Bob!! Really looking forward to you filling the jeep up with all the goodies! Sorry to hear the figures didn't work out for you. Resin is one o the better ways to go for sure! There are a few out there that seem to about the same as the styrene stuff...mainly some of the Verlinden stuff, but less work on clean up. Side note...I did actually do a review for the civilian set from MB - armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=10066 I found the set to be not too bad, at least from a styrene point of view...Sadly the only figure that I found after the fact to be slightly less than par was the bread dude; which I am painting now for one of my projects. The face is one area with a lot of work needed. Looking forward to your next update!! Keep up the great work!

Ah, cool Todd! Have read it and hell, there has to be some work to be done when you will get figures of a higher standart. But: they are very unique, I love the Flic (Policeman) and could use him in a planned comic scene maybe without changes. Only a new head has to be sculpted. But the set in general is not bad (some faces have really character!)

John - Weathering will follow my friend.
Frank - It wont be a heavy weathering, it needs to be kept subtle as this will be after the liberation of France and troops in the rear for R&R and rear guard.
Andy - Yeah really the only way to go. Although I have worked up some pretty horrible figgies with hornet parts.
Todd - thanks buddy. Yeah I was quite surprised by the quality but for styrene they are OK. I have the bread Dude getting painted up now as well.
Bill - just thirsty.....thats why the scotch is always at arms reach..............LOL
Leon - well of coarse you all do............However.........SCOTCH IS MINE!............LOL
I have to take a break fellas. The freaking crude that everyone is getting finally hit me bad. Two days running a 102-103 temp. Got to the Doc today for some meds but rest is in order.
